This one was written in an old-timey Appalachian mountain style, after watching the movie starring Gregory Peck about the life of Sergeant York, a real-life pacifist war hero who came from those mountains. The images are from Red Hawkins' memory of real life in those same mountains.
Guitar and vocals: Red Hawkins
Fiddle, mandolin, banjo and lamellaphone: Don Zeitler
